Many families are on the lookout for Halloween treat alternatives to pass out for trick-or-treat.  With food allergies, choking-hazards for little ones, and the overall sugar glut that comes with the holiday, we know many of you are looking for options.  DPG has compiled a list for you of our Top 5 favorite treat alternatives. We aren’t affiliated with any of these companies or products but hope to make your holiday preparations a bit easier!

  1. Stickers- Helps improve the fine-motor skills of toddlers and preschool aged young ones. Support a small business owner by purchasing these cute little ghosts on Etsy.

2. Pencils- Helps the school aged kids (and even those middle and high-school trick or treaters who show up without a costume) improve THEIR fine motor skills . We love Oriental Trading for bulk kids toys and treats like these fun spider web pencils.

3. Slime- It may be a Halloween nightmare for the parents to clean up, but it’s a kids-crowd favorite and can be made in bulk and packaged in a cute container if you feel like being creative. We thought Made to be a Momma was pretty crafty with the disposable condiment cups for this DIY glow in the dark slime recipe.

4. Bottled water- Ok, so we know this sounds boring, but consider the littles will need to wash down the sugar rush that will follow later in the evening.. Choose from many designs or create your own at I Custom Label.
