Due date is in April!
Hello everyone!
It has been a few weeks since I have updated you but not much has happened! We are 10 weeks pregnant (2 months!) and the pregnancy has been going smoothly so far. There have been some days that I am very tried and nauseous and one day of being extremely sick, but overall, all is well. We officially have a due date of April 17, 2021!
Last week we had our 9 week ultrasound to check on the growth of baby and baby was measuring right on time! One of my IP’s got to be present and it was really emotional and exciting to see him getting to see the baby on the sonogram for the first time. I have one more ultrasound at CCRM this week and then I will be transferring to my OB!! I will be giving birth at George Washington University Hospital. I support a lot of women who choose to birth there and it is a great place to birth!
I plan to start having monthly prenatal massages from my agency, Doulas of PG County, as the massage therapist comes to my home!! I will also start actively seeing my acupuncturist and chiropractor starting in a few weeks. I am still hoping that COVID-19 is over by April or at least GWUH allows both my IPs and husband to be in the room, but we’ll see!!
I officially can not fit into any of my jeans, so I will have to go shopping for maternity clothes soon. I do get a maternity clothes stipend so I’m excited to be able to go shopping for myself for once (all you mamas know what I mean ).
